This scale fits in my small purse and when I use it in restaurants and travel, it doesn't take up too much space or looks scary. For medical reasons, it is important for me to measure my meals and this scale makes that possible. Great battery life, light, white so it blends in. I can't say enough good things about it!
Although it can handle a lot of weight (more than three pounds), I recommend using a small plate to weigh out meals since there is little surface area and sometimes the plate can cover the number on the scale. I'm a big fan of this brand of scale. They build durable, long lasting scales.
