(More customer reviews)American Weigh has designed an excellent, low-cost digital scale which gives a reasonably accurate weight for many household items. I purchased the scale for weighing my recyclable items, such as aluminum cans, and plastic and glass bottles. Now I finally have a method to verify that my recycling center is actually coming up with good numbers. The Tare weight feature (empty container weight) is very handy for excluding the container weight from my final poundage. And the ability to weigh in both pounds and ounces and kilograms is just icing on the cake. Highly recommended.
