Unfortunately it is not rated for commerce, so one cannot officially use it to weigh items for sale or purchase. But it is effective for doing "quick checks" and researching actual versus published weights of items. Good weight range and multiple units of measure makes this tool very helpful. Trade off is its small size, but it handles the majority of tasks.
