(More customer reviews)The scale isn't precise, but it was expected when I made the purchase, although the heavier the stuff you're measuring, the larger the discrepancy. However, I discovered that you could fine tune it so that it could be more precise, although it requires you open up the scale and fiddle with the mechanism inside, which I don't recommend since the parts could be easily broken. The "cup" flips over and covers the scale when not in use, which makes the whole thing compact for storage.
