My only complaint in the past has been the fact they use harder to find batteries than the standard AA's or AAA's. This has been changed in recent years. I rent vacation condos during travel. Having this small scale makes it possible to cook, bake and keep track of calories while traveling. I would recommend this scale to anyone looking for a small, sturdy, and accurate unit.
