But, when I put an item on the scale to be measured, it is necessary to get the data fast because the scale shuts off automatically. If I step away to get more food to add to the scale it has turned off before I return. When it is turned back on it also resets the tare. It will be fine for those who can measure fast and get it done in one reading.
