Overall I am happy with this scale, but as other have noted, it is mostly plastic and cheap feeling (my last aquatronic was more glass and metal), and the buttons are difficult to press. That is I have to press them 2 or 3 times sometimes for them to actually respond. Other than that, the scale works well, and seems to be fairly accurate.

Slim enough to slip into a drawer, yet sleek enough to leave out on the counter, this Aquatronic kitchen scale by Salter makes it easy to weigh both dry and liquid ingredients with the push of a button--no need to search around for the right-size measuring cup. Use it to weigh dry ingredients up to 11 pounds (5 kg) or liquids up to 175 fluid ounces (5000 ml). Simply place the item on the scale's round-shaped platform and push a button to weigh. It's that easy. Solid items can be weighed directly on the platform or, like liquids, weighed in a bowl (not included). In fact, the scale's Add & Weigh function allows for weighing multiple ingredients in the same bowl--no need to dirty extra containers. The scale's front-facing control panel offers a 1/2-inch LCD display and four buttons for selecting "off", "on/zero", "kg/lb", or "ml/fl.oz". Other highlights include effortless metric/imperial conversion, highly accurate strain-gauge technology, and a quick-clean design. The electronic kitchen scale measures 9 by 7-3/5 by 2-1/5 inches, and a long-life lithium CR2032 battery comes included.
